Read about your place in la Junta and saw all your photos. Thats amazing . Visited La Junta back in 2007 and spent some days there. Were on a fishing trip ( one month) from Puerto Mont to Cochrane down south. Have dreamt about coming back many times and fianally my husband and I retired after 36 years of teaching wonderful kids.
We´ll leave Denmark next Thursday. We´ll fly to Balmaceda, rent a car and head south down to Villa O´Higgins and do some fishing there. Will spend a week at Hosteria Lodge el Ensuenio( Teobald Dorner) from Feb 19th. When going through your photos I realized that the bridge over the Quinto River was damaged. Is it still so? Well, if you you meet a grey haired trout bum that´s me.It is so interesting to read about your life, icelandic hut building etc.
Mange hilsner fra

Hola Ingelise. Welcome to our little thing. The bridge over Rio Quinto is now fixed, which mean we can now easily access our second piece land on the other side of Rio Cuarto, which runs into Lago Claro and is an excellent fishing spot. We live just outside of La Junta, on the other side of the Rio Rosselot Bridge. Our house is on the right, about 200 meters from the bridge and up the hill. You will spot it fairly easily as its different form everything else. We hope you'll stop on by when you come to this region.
