- I am an author, organic farmer/gardener, earthbag builder and house wife. Born and grew up in a small country town in Japan. Both my parents are from big farming family and as a child, I loved playing in a muddy rice paddy, picking up ripen tomatoes, wild mushrooms and edible ferns. I forgot all of this after twenty years of working/living in Tokyo but thanks to my husband Paul, I am very happy and content to live here in La Junta. This is a life I always dreamed. I love what I do and hope everyone who joined our community can share their vision, dream and manifestation of them!!

Yo soy una escritora, agricultora orgánica / jardinera, superadobe constructora y ama de casa. Nació y se crió en un pequeño pueblo en Japón. Mis padres son de la agricultura familiar grande y cuando era niño, me encantaba jugar en un lodoso arrozal, recogiendo tomates maduran, las setas silvestres y helechos comestibles. Me olvidé de todo esto después de veinte años de trabajar / vivir en Tokio, pero gracias a mi marido Paul, estoy muy feliz y contento de vivir aquí en La Junta. Esta es una vida que siempre soñó. Me encanta lo que hago y espero que todos los que se unieron a nuestra comunidad pueden compartir su visión, el sueño y la manifestación de ellos!

ライター、オーガニック･ファーマー、アースバック・ビルダー＆主婦です。茨城県の小さな田舎町で生まれ、育ちました。両親の実家がともに大きな農家だったので、子供の頃、田んぼで泥んこ遊びしたり、畑で熟れたトマトをもぎって食べたり、山へキノコや山菜取りに行ったりするのが大好きでした。大人になって20年ほど東京で仕事をしていたので、そのことはすっかり忘れていましたが、夫のおかげで、チリのラフンタという小さな村に移り住んで、セルフビルドで家を作り、畑をするようになり、ここでの生活がすっかり気に入って、とても満足しています。こういう生活をするのが私の夢でした。今、好きなことをやっていてとても幸せです。このサイトに参加してくださった皆さんも、ここで夢やビジョンを共有し、それがどんな風に実現していったか、どんな風に実現したいか、お話を聞かせてください。2010年ルーラル・ウーマン賞受賞、著書「木を植える男 ポール・コールマン」（角川書店）他。

Now we are living in Puerto Montt,my boyfriend has got a job here - he is from P.Montt. Orginally I am from Poland and this was really big change for me to come to Chile. I came here becasue my heart told me this ;) I still didnt find myslef here ( cant talk spanish, no work, no friends) but i am inlove in this place. I would like to see so many places. I saw your photos and all what you did and I am really impressed. This really give me inspiration :). I would really like to see what you saw ! :)

2009/12/31 6:31pm I just finished a part of walking around Taiwan (the west of Taiwan ~from south to north about 400 km) and took High Speed Train return to my home (Kaohsiung~~The south of Taiwan)....I just came back and turn on my nobook!! HAHA...
