Hi Marta. The fact that we are hiding the poly tunnel is so we don't spoil our and anyone else's view. The last robbery we had in La Junta was two years ago and that was at a cabin six kilometers from the village, right by the side of the road, in the middle of nowhere and the thief was caught this year! He came from Chaiten, 150 kms away. Most people don't even lock their. But this Patagonia, if you buy land in the Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, Frutillar, Llanquhue lakes region then theft can be an issue, but not to an alarming extent.
