NATURES BRIGHTENS THE ROADSIDES OF ESQUEL ARGENTINA

MUSHROOMS RISING

Following the village lamb fest over xmas our land has been not been nibbled as much, so we are finding allsorts of wonderful things popping up- like flowers and mushrooms. "Paul" said Konomi in great excitement. "I think we have two edible mushrooms growing on our land. Do you want to have a look?"

DIGGING FOR DOMES ドームを作る場所を掘り始める

12月10日から、自分たちでドームを作る場所を掘り始めた。草を剥いで、草の根っこが張っている表土をとりのぞく。

アースバックに入れる土に有機物が混ざっていると、年月がたってそれがバックの中で芽を出したり成長したりして、固まった土がひび割れする原因になる可能性があるらしい。

そこで、有機物はアースバックに使わないのだ。

すっかり表土を取り除くのに、二人で６時間かかった。

We started to dig on December 10th. We removed turf from the surface and the top soil which was 50cm deep.
