Hi Paul, Konomi and Tribe,

I want to say how much I have enjoyed browsing this site and watching some of the videos, and am feeling like I know you, even though we have never met. I am totally in accord with your sensitivities about living simply with nature and making your life with your own hands and mind. It would be wonderful to some day actually visit that glorious place you call home.

My wife, Zana, and I are now living in the high mountains of Colorado, in a little  community called Crestone, surrounded by astounding beauty as well. You can see some photos I've taken lately if you go to my Flickr page. We moved back here about a year ago after living in Mexico for 5 years, near Lake Chapala...so I know what it is like to live in the land of manana. Y puedo hablar espanol tambien.

I am the creator of a green home building website that has been going strong for over a decade, and am co-creator with Owen Geiger of a site about earthbag building. It is in connection with this website that I am moved to become a member here and contact you, because I have taken the liberty to assemble a "project page" about what you have been doing in Patagonia. When you have a chance you might check out the page to see if it accurately enough reflects what you have done. Please do let me know if anything should be changed...or even if you would rather it not be there. I do you give you full credit and provide a link to this blog.

Hi Kelly. Thanks very much for this. The project page is wonderful and must have took a lot of time to put together. I have been checking your site since day one of thinking about earthbag building and we have gathered a lot of useful information from it. I also check into Owens site and am very thankful for the amount of work you guys put into enabling alternative construction. I spent a night in Crestone about fifteen years ago. It is a very special place. And please do come and visit us here in Patagonia. I am sure we would have a lot to share. Go well
